Queen Of Peace Foundation Appoints New Board President
Queen of Peace Foundation President Renee Brod. Meet the Foundation Board of Directors.
(NEW PRAGUE, MN - August 10, 2009) – Renee Brod, with State Bank of New Prague, was recently appointed as the new Queen of Peace Foundation Board President. Also new to the Foundation Board are Board Members Pat Goggins, Darlene Seurer, and Stefeni Tupy.
"I am very excited to take on this new role with the Foundation," said Renee Brod. "It is easy for me to make this commitment to the Foundation because it has a mission I am passionate about."
In addition to electing a new President, the Board filled one vacant seat left by Chuck Tupy whose term had ended, as well as two additional open seats. "We have worked hard to diversify our Board in the last couple years," said Heather Tietz, Queen of Peace Foundation Director. "We've wanted to ensure the Foundation had representation across age groups, communities and skill sets. Our newest Board members certainly add to our great blend of dedicated volunteer leaders."
Queen of Peace Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1982 to raise funds to support the healthcare mission of Queen of Peace Hospital and the health-related needs of the community. The Foundation seeks donations to purchase life-saving medical equipment and fund a variety of vital programs. The Foundation is a registered "IRC 501(c)(3)" charity and donations to Queen of Peace Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
