Queen of Peace Hospital has received numerous accreditations, designations, and awards for quality health care. We are directly affiliated with some of the most well-known and respected names in the American health care field, and we are dedicated to using all of the resources we have to achieve our motto: Bringing Medical Excellence Home.
Accreditations

- The Joint Commission (TJC)
TJC certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to meeting accepted performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval indicates achievement of those standards.
- COLA
COLA accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply rigid standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey.
Designations
- Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
Critical Access Hospitals provide essential services to a community and conform to rigid state and national specifications.
- Level III Trauma Center
Level III Trauma Centers, designated by the Minnesota State Trauma Advisory Committee, are equipped to provide emergency resuscitation, surgery, and intensive care for most trauma patients, working in conjunction with larger facilities for care of extremely severe cases.
