Events
The Queen of Peace Foundation regularly sponsors community events to promote the hospital and raise funds to support its mission.
These events are a great way to thank the people whose generosity has supported the Foundation. They are also effective in introducing the community to the programs and services provided by the Hospital.

Rock the Foundation
A groovy time was had by all at the Rock the Foundation event held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Champions Entertainment Center at Elko Speedway. The event was held to raise funds for the Family Birthing Center at Queen of Peace Hospital.
Many of the guests showed up in their best 70's threads. Costume contest winners were Mark & Marri Fishel (Best Duo as Sonny & Cher), Dirk & Darbie Berger (Best 70's threads) and Ben Davis (shown at right).
Donor Appreciation Events
We regularly hold receptions to thank our donors and friends, including an annual reception each spring for donors who have achieved the Century Club level of giving.
This annual event provides a great opportunity for Foundation supporters to mix and mingle, share stories, and see first-hand how their stewardship of the Foundation is making a difference in the community.
Queen of Peace Foundation Euchre Tournament
The inaugural Queen of Peace Foundation Euchre Tournament was held Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan.
A portion of each entry fee ($8.00 per player) is a tax-deductible gift to Queen of Peace Foundation, to support and enhance the healthcare mission of Queen of Peace Hospital, and programs to fight childhood obesity.

Wonderland in the Park Gala & Auction
Wonderland in the Park Gala & Auction is the Foundation's primary fundraising event. The Gala includes dinner, entertainment, and both a silent and live auction.
Proceeds from the Silver Anniversary auction held on November 15, 2008 have been dedicated to purchase additional technology to further enhance the surgical services at Queen of Peace Hospital. Click here to learn more about this extraordinary event.
Queen For A Day
Queen for a Day is a women's health event held every other year, exclusively for women. Local experts discuss how to take care of yourself and focus on what's truly important, as well as share heart health and nutrition advice.
Laugh, relax, and rejuvenate yourself with your girlfriends by focusing on the Queen inside you. Learn about the most recent Queen for a Day, held January 30, 2010.
Kickstart Summer Kids' Health & Fitness Fair
The KickStart Summer Kids Health & Fitness Fair held in May 2009 helped the Foundation raise much-needed funds to fight childhood obesity. Kids from around the area toured an Air Ambulance, met University of Minnesota mascot Goldy Gopher, learned about bike safety, and discovered some great ideas for staying fit and healthy during the summer months.
Samantha from New Prague (right) even won the grand prize, a new Huffy bike, donated by Ace Hardware in New Prague.
